Natural All Purpose Spray Cleaner Recipe

The warm weather has all of us at Thistle Farms throwing open our windows and deeply cleaning our living spaces. Welcoming winter's goodbye, the bursts of springtime sun literally shine a light on the forgotten corners that need some extra love.

Let's tidy up our home’s surfaces with a natural cleaner that purifies leftover germs and motivates us with its bright kick of eucalyptus, lemon, lavender, and other beneficial essential oils!

This recipe can be made with ingredients you probably already have. If you don’t have distilled water, use tap water on this first batch. If you don’t have a lemon, leave it out this time. We like it best with the ingredients that are listed below, but it’s a pretty forgiving formulation.

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 cup water (we prefer distilled)

1 cup white vinegar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

15-20 drops Thistle Farms Immunity Essential Oil

1 16 oz spray bottle (preferably glass)

Funnel

Mix all ingredients in a bottle, using a funnel if necessary, and refrigerate between uses if using lemon juice. Your surfaces will spring to life with this powerful but gentle natural cleaner. Use your best judgment on your home’s delicate surfaces, testing a small area if you’re uncertain. This recipe works great as an after-shower spray as well. Just give a quick spritz and rinse to keep your shower sparkling clean between scrubbings (for even more shine, toss in our bathtub/shower scrub).
