A Safe Haven
Thistle Farms hosts four beds in a Safe House for trafficking survivors as they take their initial steps of their journey to safety.
This year marks five years of welcoming survivors into the Safe House. Now, as we expand and renovate the space, we’re also expanding our capacity to care.
When a survivor first arrives at the Safe House, she’s met with more than just a place to sleep.
Each woman is provided with case management, healthcare, and healing for up to 30 days in addition to program referrals – whether for our Residential Program, a sister organization, or another program – to help continue her healing.
She’s met with dignity, compassion, and a basket of hygiene essentials to provide a safe place of growth and learning.
Among the items in that basket is our natural moisturizing Lavender Hand Sanitizer – a small, gentle offering that shows survivors that they are seen, welcomed, and cared for.
When you purchase a bottle, you’re not just buying a product. You’re a part of helping us welcome more women home with open arms and the tools to begin again. You’re placing comfort into someone’s hands, and reminding her that healing is possible.
With your support, 39 women received sanctuary and services in 2024. Together, we’re making room for even more.

When you purchase a bottle of our Lavender Hand Sanitizer, you’re not only caring for yourself. You’re helping welcome a survivor into a safe space for healing.
Thistle Farms Lavender Hand Sanitizer is handcrafted to cleanse and soothe, scented with our classic, comforting lavender.
You can bring that same comfort to yourself and a woman entering our Safe House. An $11 purchase gets you one bottle for your own use, and one we’ll include in a hygiene basket for a survivor seeking refuge.
This simple gesture of care becomes part of a survivor's first steps towards rebuilding her life.
If you prefer, you can get a bottle for yourself at $5.50. Your purchase still supports the meaningful employment of women working to create intentional products handmade with care. Every bottle sold helps build a community of healing, compassion, and hope.

• Keep away from heat and open flame.
• Avoid direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
• Ensure cap is tightly closed to prevent evaporation.
Shipping
We currently ship to contiguous United States, Alaska, and Hawaii.
- Free shipping on orders over $99
- Gifts or items containing matches are not eligible for shipping to Hawaii or expedited shipping.
Orders are processed and shipped Monday-Friday. Fulfillment may take 3-5 business days (though we will do our best for it to be faster).
We primarily ship via UPS. USPS is used for PO Boxes or when customers make specific arrangements. Additional shipping charges may apply if an order is returned to us by the carrier.

Return Policy
We offer a 30 day return window for product purchased from ThistleFarms.org, The Shop At Thistle Farms or at an official Thistle Farms pop-up event. For exchanges, please process a return and re-order the item you wish to receive.

For issues with Thistle Farms products purchased from other retailers, please contact that retailer directly for a replacement or refund.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can send it back for a full refund within 30 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase, and your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
A pre-paid shipping label will be provided and a $7 shipping cost dedicated from the refund. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send an email to notify you when your refund has been processed.
The only items we cannot issue a refund on are items purchased that have been marked down, gift cards, special orders, and shipping charges.

We are only able to process returns at this time. If you would like to exchange a product, please follow our return policy above.
You can re-order at any time during this process.
NOTE: When shipping an item valued over $75 on your own, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive the returned item.
