Why do we host a conference?
“Justice is a non-competitive sport.”- Becca Stevens
A conference is a space to gather as a community of organizations committed to healing, dignity, and opportunity for women. Across different cities, cultures, and contexts, organizations are developing practices, insights, and solutions grounded in their own experience. Coming together allows us to share and expand that knowledge. When we walk alongside one another, we can learn from each other’s challenges, share in one another’s successes, and be inspired by our collective work. This allows us to walk with each woman we serve as she steps toward healing and reclaiming in new ways. And we invite you to join us.
Conference Sessions
The Walk with Her Conference offers opportunities for community, learning, and reflection as we walk together toward a world where every woman is free.
One way we learn and grow together is through for distinct learning tracks—House, Heal, Employ, and Respond—designed to support, equip, and inspire across roles and experiences.
House: Delve into practical strategies for establishing survivor-centered services and fostering meaningful engagement.
Heal: Explore holistic healing approaches tailored to support survivors at every milestone in their recovery journey.
Employ: Discover pathways to economic stability for survivors through dignified employment opportunities.
Respond: Learn how policy efforts and ethical storytelling practices can help you effectively respond to human trafficking.
You will leave the conference equipped with practical tools, valuable insights, and a renewed commitment to creating positive change in your communities and beyond.
