The Café at Thistle Farms Partners with The Well Coffeehouse

Thistle Farms and The Well, two beloved Nashville institutions, are proud to announce a new partnership that brings together their shared missions of service and community. Starting this month, The Café at Thistle Farms will exclusively serve coffee from The Well, strengthening both organizations' shared commitment to serving marginalized communities through business with purpose.

Thistle Farms is known for providing meaningful employment to women survivors of human trafficking, prostitution, and addiction. Since opening its doors in 2013 in West Nashville, The Café at Thistle Farms has provided jobs in a healing environment that fosters recovery and opportunity, inviting guests to connect with the mission of Thistle Farms in through radical hospitality and community-building.

The Well, a nonprofit coffeehouse with several locations in Nashville and one in Fishers, Indiana, is known for its impactful mission of "Turning Coffee Into Water." Since opening its first location in 2012, The Well has become a welcoming hub for local communities while using its profits to support clean water initiatives globally, bringing safe drinking water to communities in need.

This collaboration brings together two businesses that are deeply rooted in their missions to serve others. Patrons of The Café at Thistle Farms will now enjoy The Well’s signature coffees, such as Bochica (dark roast) and Blue Note (medium roast), alongside an assortment of The Well's teas such as Peppermint, Irish Breakfast, and Masala Chai. In return, The Well will carry Thistle Farms' signature Love Heals candles in their stores, including the popular scents Sea Salt & Driftwood and Lavender.

"At Thistle Farms, we believe that love is the most powerful force for change in the world, and our partnership with The Well is a beautiful reflection of that shared belief," said Tasha Kennard, CEO of Thistle Farms. "Not only are we able to serve our guests amazing coffee, but every cup they buy is contributing to the mission of Thistle Farms and the incredible work The Well is doing around the globe."

For The Well, this collaboration is another step in their mission to use business as a means to love people.

“We believe that true change comes from the heart and is born out of collaboration,” said Mark Barns, CEO of The Well Coffeehouse. “By joining forces with Thistle Farms, we have the incredible opportunity to amplify our impact and bring light to the darkness that many face. As we stand together, we are not just addressing immediate needs; we are nurturing dreams, restoring dignity, and building pathways to brighter futures.”

Together, The Café at Thistle Farms and The Well Coffeehouse embody the idea that businesses can be more than just profit-driven; they can be platforms for healing and social change. With this partnership, every visit to either location becomes an opportunity for the Nashville community to join in creating real, lasting impact, one cup of coffee and one candle at a time.
