Our manufacturing workforce is made up almost entirely of women survivors of trafficking, prostitution, and addiction.

Being survivors means that even when we were victims, we were often miscategorized as criminals. Felony arrest records that number into the dozens are not uncommon among us, and securing employment at a living wage is almost impossible with a criminal history. At Thistle Farms, we provide vocation and purpose to success-driven, competent women who are considered unemployable by other companies, paving the way for restoration in all aspects of life after incarceration or the streets.

We're not the cheapest and we're not the most expensive, and we believe that there is great value in both.

Thistle Farms products are not cheap because at Thistle Farms, we aren't cheap. At every step along the way, each of our products make life better for those who make and use them. From the farm in Rwanda where our rose geranium oil is grown by survivors of genocide, to our manufacturing facility in Nashville where survivors of America's harshest injustices blend that precious oil into our Natural Bug Spray, to your back yard where you live mosquito bite free all summer. With each spray, a freedom specific to a particular person becomes reality.
