This lovely eco-friendly tray is made with natural banana fibers. These handcrafted trays or baskets work equally well as storage and decoration throughout your home.

  • Color - Natural. Slight variation in the color of the fiber is to be expected.
  • Size - 14" x 3"

The fiber used for crocheting this product is locally available and it's made out of the "dead" leaves of the banana trees. These leaves, previously considered waste, are now getting a new life in contemporary and sustainable design innovation. The banana leaves are spliced by hand to extract fiber strips followed by twining to make different thickness ropes which are then hand crocheted and woven to make these eco-friendly storage baskets.

Products are handmade and each piece is unique therefore any slight imperfection is an individual expression of that artisan’s “perfect” handy work.

Note: This product is already on sale. Additional discounts will not apply at checkout.
