At Thistle Farms, we see the start of the holiday season as an invitation to shift the focus from the rush of consumption to the rhythms of community: how we gather, how we give thanks, and how we support one another with intention.
It begins with Thanksgiving, a moment to root ourselves in gratitude.
Then comes the stretch of Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday - or, what we choose to call Small Business Weekend. It’s a chance to support the makers and neighbors who make our city vibrant, knowing that every dollar you spend locally cycles right back into the communities and causes you care about most.
And finally, GivingTuesday offers the perfect close to a whirlwind weekend of food, fellowship, and gratitude. It’s the moment we turn outward again, balancing what we’ve received with what we can give. Whether our resources are modest or abundant, each of us has something meaningful to offer. Because we are stronger together, giving lifts us all.

On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, we invite you to help us reach our goal of raising $150,000 in one day to support Thistle Farms' mission of providing safe housing, healing, and meaningful employment for women who are reclaiming their lives. And thanks to a generous dollar-for-dollar match, your donation will go twice as far.

Three Ways to Support Thistle Farms This GivingTuesday
1. Donate to Fund Life-Changing Programs
Every donation on GivingTuesday directly funds our mission to provide vital support for women survivors. Your support goes directly to:
- Safe Housing – The foundation to begin the healing journey.
- Comprehensive Healing Programs – Access to trauma therapy, medical care, and recovery support.

3. Celebrate GivingTuesday at The Café and Shop!
Connection is at the heart of life. If you’re in Nashville, we would love for you to stop by The Café and Shop at Thistle Farms to experience the mission and community of Thistle Farms in person!
And if you can, invite someone in your life who has reached back and given back to you in some way to join you at The Café for lunch or a coffee. Use it as a chance to express your gratitude to them for making an impact in your life, and hear about how the women who have gone through the Thistle Farms Residential Program are inspired to do the same.
We’ll be set up at 5122 Charlotte Ave in Nashville all day, from 7am-3pm, and would love to see you there!
