Thistle Farms Global has the unique opportunity to work with our partners to create custom pieces for you. Combining the craftsmanship of the artisans and their designers with the Thistle Farms mission and love, detailed projects transform into beautiful products. Thistle Farms has led ideas and designs for exclusive pieces over the years, giving advice on what we know the Thistle Farms market and brand would enjoy.
This winter season, Thistle Farms Global has teamed up with BRANDED COLLECTIVE and Her Future Coalition to create two beautiful jewelry products, representing our thistle and the circle that the Thistle Farms community creates every week.
BRANDED COLLECTIVE is a Nashville based company who employs women survivors of human trafficking and that have gone through End Slavery Tennessee. End Slavery Tennessee provides specialized case management and comprehensive aftercare for human trafficking survivors. With their partnership, BRANDED is able to provide the next step in professional development and employment empowerment, giving women a safe working environment. Co-Founder, Lauren Carpenter worked with her design team and the women artisans to create their first exclusive piece of jewelry, a thistle stamp on one of their beautiful cuffs. These metal bracelets are a way to remember that love is the most powerful force for change in this world.
Her Future Coalition worked closely with the Global Team, to design a beautiful delicate circle necklace. Every week, the Thistle Farms community meets in what we call, “Circle”, to take time to meditate, reflect on a weekly reading and connecting with our community to uplift and support one another. Katie, Thistle Farms Global Brand Manager says, “I love working with partners to create custom pieces for Global. These pieces have been my favorite because they hold so much meaning. These pieces tell a greater story by representing not only the story of the women who made them but also the story of Thistle Farms. They are designed and created for the customer to spread these stories and the message of Love Heals by wearing or gifting!”
Her Future Coalition provides shelter, education, and employment for survivors of human trafficking and Gender-Based Violence. The women who created this jewelry are some of India’s first women goldsmiths. Their work and income gives them decision-making power in their families and communities, enabling them to remain free forever.
Artisans in India often come through the program at a young age, surviving some of the highest trafficked communities in the world. One of Her Future Coalition’s artisans, Grace, was able to restore her body, mind, and spirit after going through the program. Now Grace is in college and studying to become a teacher, she plans to give back to her village she grew up in and reopen a school so that girls will have different avenues to turn to, rather than being trafficked on the streets of India. Grace along with artisans of BRANDED and Her Future Coalition will create beautiful healthy and supportive circles of love in their communities around the world thanks to your purchase through Thistle Farms.
