Small Chij Ceramic Teapot
Elevate your tea time with the Small Chij Ceramic Teapot, handcrafted and inspired by the meeting of traditional Chiapas pottery and ancient Asian tea culture. Made with clay gathered from the hills near Amatenango del Valle, its distinctive light gray finish is achieved through a careful burnishing process. Holding approximately 300 ml, this petite teapot is designed for serving tea and can also be used over direct heat on a stove. As the clay naturally ages with time and use, its tone and texture may change, giving each piece even more individual character.
Created by Cooperativa 1050, the Chij collection grew from the Potter Learning Community and the work of Esperanza Bautista and her family, who continue developing new forms and processes while preserving the ancient pottery traditions of their Chiapas community.

Care: Hand wash with a soft sponge and dry completely before storing. Do not leave filled with water for more than three days or immerse in cold water while hot. Do not use on electric grills.

We currently ship to contiguous United States, Alaska, and Hawaii.

- Gifts or items containing matches are not eligible for shipping to Hawaii or expedited shipping.
- Hand Sanitizer is not eligible for shipping to PO Boxes, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico. Ground only, and no expedited shipping available.
Orders are processed and shipped Monday-Friday. Fulfillment may take 3-5 business days (though we will do our best for it to be faster).
We primarily ship via USPS. Other carriers may be used for PO Boxes or specific shipping arrangements. Additional shipping charges may apply if an order is returned to us by the carrier.

Return Policy
We offer a 30 day return window for product purchased from ThistleFarms.org, The Shop At Thistle Farms or at an official Thistle Farms pop-up event. For exchanges, please process a return and re-order the item you wish to receive.

For issues with Thistle Farms products purchased from other retailers, please contact that retailer directly for a replacement or refund.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can send it back for a full refund within 30 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase, and your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
A pre-paid shipping label will be provided and a $7 shipping cost dedicated from the refund. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send an email to notify you when your refund has been processed.
The only items we cannot issue a refund on are items purchased that have been marked down, gift cards, special orders, and shipping charges.
