Love inspires me to remember the roots of commercial sexual exploitation lie in gender-based violence and systemic oppressions. I recognize that while vulnerability is a root factor pushing someone closer to exploitation, the demand for commercial sex is the root cause of the sex trade. I will work towards speaking into  spaces where I see complacency or actions that  continue to propagate prostitution and pornography.

Love inspires me to engage in conversations with my community and share my knowledge in ways that honor survivors' lived experience. I am dedicated to taking steps to be more than a bystander in my community.

Love is the most powerful force for change in the world and I pledge to join others to make that change a reality.
