Made by survivor artisans of YEWO in Malawi to lift marginalized communities out of poverty.
The Mulenji Necklace is a classic! Featuring a matte U-Shape brass pendant , it is a staple piece. 'Mulenji' means 'Morning' in Tumbuka.
The pendant on this necklace is made using recycled, regionally sourced brass. Brass is an ancient metal alloy comprised of copper and zinc, and is a sustainable metal option.
Because brass is a natural alloy metal it will begin to tarnish with exposure to oxygen & moisture over time.
