An organic agribusiness that produces high-quality essential oils and sisal bowls out of Rwanda. Ikirezi achieved its first organic certification in 2006, which has opened up not only a local market but an international marketplace. Farmers go through vocational training on best-growing practices and business management classes, so they can have ownership over their own farms and provide ram materials. Ikirezi works primarily with widows and adult orphans from the genocide through holistic efforts to restore dignity, improve livelihoods and rebuild communities.
