Demographic of Artisans: Extreme Poverty
Handspun Hope envisions Africa's most vulnerable people transformed into healthy, prosperous, and collaborative communities of social change. They pursue this by reaching out to the most vulnerable people in Rwanda and creating environments where they are empowered to live out their full potential in their work, homes, and spiritual lives.
Since 2017, Handspun Hope has also worked with local refugee women in Baton Rouge. Their desire is to provide an avenue out of isolation and into community. They do this through teaching artisan skills, fostering new relationships, and providing supplemental income.
