Global Finished Goods Inventory Assistant

The Finished Goods Inventory Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Inventory Manager on any necessary inventory needs regarding ALL finished goods. A successful inventory assistant is a reliable worker, able to do physically work on single tasks for four hrs. at a time. They possess great attention to detail and numbers. The goal of this position is to take direction well and complete tasks assigned to them about inventory needs within the department and logistics.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following:

  • Tagging all finished goods with appropriate barcodes
  • Quality Control: Making sure that the barcode is scannable both on POS systems and Top shelf Scanners and communicating to Inventory Coordinator when they are not
  • Re-stock inventory bins both online, overstock and occasionally in the shop overstock
  • Weekly and monthly inventory counting using Top shelf Scanners
  • Keep and organize barcode & Purchase Order Binders
  • Keep and organize new inventory in logistics’ racks, overstock racks and storefront overstock
  • Get assistance when moving large amounts of products from one building to another (communicating with Raw Materials Inventory Manager / Forklift Drivers)
  • Take direction from Logistics managers when an issue arises and needs to be fixed
  • Help with customer service returns - quality control check, retagging, and restocking
  • Create barcode labels generated through maestro.com, google sheets & excel
  • Use monday.com to communicate with team about to-do list and priority tasks

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Detail-oriented and good math skills
  • Knowledge of Excel, Top shelf, Mastro Label Creator, Monday.com and Logistics systems, Skubana
  • Clear and professional email etiquette
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Self-motivated and able to foresee tasks that may not be listed but need to be done
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. at a time
  • Ability to be mobile - walking between buildings with inventory/standing for long periods of time
  • Willing to learn and grow as a team member of the Global department
  • A desire to learn new things, and stay organized
