We're so proud to be a part of The Female Founder Collective, a network of businesses led by women, supporting women. With it's mission to enable and empower female led businesses to positively impact communities, this is a great partnership and we look forward to a long and meaningful collaboration.

Our own female founder, Becca Stevens is an author, speaker, Episcopal priest, social entrepreneur, mom, wife, and founder & president of Thistle Farms

In 1997, Becca and a handful of dedicated volunteers welcomed five women who had experienced trafficking, prostitution, and addiction home to our first house to live and heal together in community, free of charge for two full years. By 2000, we had learned that one of the biggest obstacles to long term recovery for the women we serve would be the lack of safe and recovery-friendly employment. In 2001, Thistle Farms was born.

Twenty years later, our residential program continues to offer free services to up to 28 women, including housing, medical care, therapy and education. Residents and graduates of Thistle Farms Residential have the option to work at Thistle Farms or one of our other social enterprises. Through our global partner ships, Thistle Farms helps employ more than 1,800 women worldwide, and the national recovery network has more than 40 sister communities.

Women have the power to change the world. From our purchasing decisions as consumers to the leadership and employment opportunities we offer as business owners, women are an incredible and undeniable force.
